Course Overview

This speciality course is designed to aquaint the diver with the special skills and techniques necessary to successfuly plan, execute and evaluate a search and recovery dive.

Pre-requistes

Minimum age of 15.
Open Water diver certified.

The Search & Recovery diver course covers:

• Navigation
• Limited visibility diving
• Search techniques
• Salvage techniques

Course duration and number of dives

The Search & Recovery Diver course is a 1 day course and 2 dives are required.

Course Price

7500.00 THB

Additional costs

Recreational Rental equipment if needed. 650.00 THB set p/day.
Purchase of spool, SMB and wriste slate.
Candidates can choose to run this program from our Luxurious Yachts involving additional costs.

Equipment requirement

The Search & Recovery Diver course has some specific equipment requirement more than your standard recreational dive gear. A compasse is required for the search process and a lift bag for the recovery process. We also require that all divers carry a spool, SMB and wriste slate.
